That Drill Instructor looks like 'Jane Hathaway' from the Beverly Hillbillies (CORRECTION:real name Nancy Kulp, NOT JANE KULP) Thanks Mr E Moose
Who served in the US Naval Reserves during WWII, reaching the rank of lieutenant, junior grade, and received several decorations while in the service, including the American Campaign Medal. She was honorably discharged from the Reserve in 1946.
