Remington Stock Finish

I can tell you my 510 is tinted Lacquer. As a matter of fact most commercial stuff new and old is/was finished with tinted lacquer or Poly. An oil finish is time consuming and expensive. Tru-oil isn't an oil finish BTW, it's Bubba goo, just thought I throw that out there.

LOL, I like that I was pretty sure the 500 series rifles were toner lacquer (Tinted Lacquer) from what I found and from testing the stuff on my stocks.
