    Ron,

    Rifle AS4213 was a part of batch number 67 which consisted of 4 Weapons and is recorded as being completed on the 30th June 1973. On completion it went out to Donnington.

    Can't tell you anything about the scope I'm afraid, perhaps it has passed through Peters hands at some time?

    It might have just sold from Collectors Source in Ontario Canadaicon. It was on the site this morning and is now gone!

    makes one wonder why the serial number has been changed...

    I'm pretty sure if this particular rifle was completed in 1973 it would be marked as '73...
