It was a perceived canted front sight. Not a suspect bent barrel or POI far from POA, he hadn't shot it and there may be NO problem to begin with. Also, we may never know...although he's around.

I confess that this sort of thing gets on my nerves just a trifle. We do our best to try and help someone, and appropriate feedback is helpful for advising others in the future. But sending advice into a black hole is, to say the least, disappointing.

Pat,
Agree with your sentiment. I guess the OP is actually situationally unaware of the social pressure they've placed on asking questions, expecting answers and not responding in reasonable time. It's a common problem I notice both in professional and private environments nowadays. The common response is "...I'm very busy..." when a little reflection actually returns "...you gave me what I wanted and now I'm all right..." Of course, the reciprocity seems to be lost on some (not all). Not condoning it, just reflecting on a common maltreatment of fellow colleagues, friends, workers and knowledge holders.
Perhaps your well intentioned grumble will actually inspire a few to rethink how they engage in an open forum where it is a privilege to receive others knowledge and learning?
Let's hope so.
