    It's a guess, but I think it could well be 'Base Workshops Singapore' & the month & year of the date it went through there....

    Makes sense - my 4T is marked in a similar format for "34th Base Workshops Catterick August 1968"
    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
