    Not that size or type no. My 45 holster has the embossed US on it. Most of them do. That's why this might not be military but I don't know why a police department would use military belts either.

    This holster was not for the .45, this is a service 38 holster. A 45 would not fit in it.

    I found a site with some pictures a few minutes ago with the same holster without the swivel. Looks like they didn't have the US embossed on them...
