    1795 Barrel Markings

Trying to identify the makings set on the underside of this 1795 Springfield barrel. They are located 1-1/8" from the breech at the 7 o'clock position using the touch hole for reference at the 3 o'clock position. Both markings are about 1/8" in depth.
Any help will be most appreciated.
