A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Hi, is there any info on Enforcer serial No. 742. 1980 dated. Asking for friend, I think it's probably a dealer assembled rifle

Blank entry on the sheets so probably correct in your assumption. Rifles either side of it were sent to Bangkok, Thailand dated 1982 and 1983 FYI

I have scoured the lists again, but nothing not even numbers without a prefix, of which there are a large number............strange, just taking advice and will get back to you.
Might be that I need to go to SpecSavers but I doubt it!!
