I recently purchased a VGC, 1st production era, RIA # 236077. A higher number that is found in the RIA listings in the '03 books by Canfield, Beardicon and Ferris.

It has a 7-13 dated bbl and 088 on the bbl bottom, under the front sight.

It is stamped 'NRA' on the forward portion of the trigger guard.

Are there any SRS records on the sale of NRA rifles before WW1?
