You mean you don't want the Knights Templar, Spartan or skull shaped magwell?
Was going to suggest Nodak Spud but doesn't look like they're around anymore. Brownells retro lowers would work but they're out of stock. Colt lowers are still pretty plain if the pony or gunbroker cost doesn't bother you. There's M&M lowers on gunbroker that are plain. I had one and it seemed ok but traded it in without many rounds through it.

I heard back from Craig at Ohio Ordnance Works today (their description didn't say what the finish was - was told not only are they made and finished to military contract specs, but I could get two with sequential serial numbers.
After all my griping...something in between.

That's what I got from Anderson.

now where did I leave off? Yes. I was indeed supplied with sequentially number serials. Twin primes would have had me in tears of joy for months. For now a prime squared is well enough interesting. Maybe next time I'll arrange to choose my own. But if that were the case, I don't think I'd ever be able to decide what would be the most interesting. A taxi-cab perhaps? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxicab_number
Pair of Douglas barrels with matched bolts and CLE chambers from compass lake finally arrived after their 3 month lead time. A few more small parts and we'll be all set to finish matching pair of A2 and A4 high-power builds. Compass Lake was kind enough to stamp the barrels "GA" and "GB", with matching marks on each of the bolts.
