    The straight (90' and there were two: the earlier .050" and later .035) cut predated the diagonal cut(mid '44), but by '44 they were only using the cut cylinders if there was excessive play found in rebuild. -mostly Duff-

    So for Feb '44 it would be a straight .035 cut or .050?

    Scott,

    Before we get too far along here, sawcut gas cylinders were not part of original new built assembly, they are strictly field rebuilt and overhaul items.
