    Bushmaster ordering

I usually hang around over on the carbine forum but wondered if someone here had bought anything from Bushmaster lately and what their backlog/wait time is these days. I am thinking about buying a new upper for my AR from them and just wondered.

I just ordered 4 M4 barrels and bolt carriers about a 2 months ago. The bolt carriers have not shown up yet but all of the barrels showed up in about 3 weeks. They were 14.25 inch barrels though. The 16" M4 I ordered took about 2 months to get. I guess they are more popular. Small parts seem to ship in about 3 to 4 weeks, like handguards, flash hiders, pins, springs, etc. I am a bushmaster dealer, I dont know if that makes any difference in the shipping time or not. Like I said though, I am still waiting on my bolt carrier assemblies. Good luck.

Thanks very much for that. Mine is the 16 inch M4 style with carry handle but it has the old style rear sight (push and rotate with cartridge) and am thinking of whether or not to order the entire new M4 upper and barrel but with the detachable handle or just the M4 upper and use the old barrel. I guess 2 months isn't too long a wait.
