I do not have any knowledge whatsoever on Mausers, but I was at a small gun show in my local area today, and I spotted a Model 1938 TurkishMauser that was marked on the receiver with "Ankara" and "K.Kale" and dated 1942. It was for sale for $180. As I have no idea about these rifles, but would like, at some point, to own one (what can I say - I like guns), I was wondering if there are any particular things to look out for. The rifle looked cosmetically reasonable, and a label said the rifle was chambered for the 7mm round. Is this scarse ammunition?
