Stumbled back in from the local gunshow...

...and managed to find some surplus for 50 cents per round (British made 288 Mk.7 rounds still in the sealed wooden box and British made 250 rounds on a belt in a wooden box that had spent some time in South Africa, and both wooden boxes in a metal ammo box marked "576 cart 303 ball Mk.7 CTN").

There was also a New Zealand-stamped SthLE No.2 Mk.IV .22 trainer, which was originally a 1908 SMLE mk.III, in very good condition for $600 US. I know nothing about Lee Enfield .22 trainers, so I do not know what I should be looking for or what would be a good price on the US market at this time.

One of the internet sources has/had some MkVII 1952 cordite stuff, that was pretty cheap.

Not for want of trying lol

Someone had a beautiful Long Branch No.4 Mk.1/3, but I couldn't read the date on the (F)FTR marking (so maybe someone had later refinished the receiver?), but it was a little too much for my liking ($500).
