    Trigger Question.

Is there a way to lighten the trigger pull of my Garandicon. I remember when I shot comp in 02 they checked my trig pull and said it needed to be 4.5 or higher. I used a fish scale on this rifle and it popped around 6lbs. I'm now fine tuning my rifle in hopes of that and practice(not the shooting kind for now as I'm taking it slow for now)will bring my score up. I know there is probably a optimum trigger pull? What is it and how to if possible?

It is done (at least one way) by stoning the hammer hooks. You have to know what you are doing. Optimal is what feels good for you. I have some that are as high as almost 5.8 or so but very crisp so I don't mess with them.
