    Lee Enfield sling, M.I.A. manufacture.

Have a Lee Enfield sling that came on a No 5 I bought this weekend. Cannot find any reference to the manufacturer 'M.I.A.' It is dated 1942, and is also marked 'R.O.K. '46.' Anybody familiar with this manufacturer? Sling is tan. Thanks!

Not sure on the ROK (Republic of Korea?), but my understanding of MIA is "made in Australiaicon". A picture of the sling's
web weave would help cement that notion.

The somewhat uneven weave along with the color variations is typical of Australianicon webbing. Not sure on the makers mark though. Maybe someone else can chime in...
