    Picked up a nice tin box cleaning kit

    I had a WTB ad posted here on the forum and a member sent me a PM indicating he had one - didn't know when it was made but that it was unused. He later sent a pic - I agreed to buy it and it arrived yesterday. The oiler was still wrapped in wax paper. Nice.

    I think that possibly the date 1946 inside the tin may be when it was made.
    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
