Carbine rebuild question

I heard that Auto Ordnance did some carbine rebuilds ? if AO did rebuild carbines how were the carbines marked ? Also heard that AO rebuilt some M1 rifle stocks too ? anyone have any information ? it would be appreciated RCS

AO was not one of the companies rebuilding post war carbines. Only Underwood and Standard Products had contracts to do this. All the rest were rebuilt at government facilities. AO did make receivers and bolt for IBM during IBM's contract to make carbines.
