No2 mk4 ammo ?
What grain count do these 22lr trainers like the best. I may have finally found one to purchase and I wanted to know what to look for. I will only be punching paper. Are certain grain counts better suited for longer distances? How far can these accurately shoot? Any brands or charges to avoid?
Thanks for any input.
Cheers

Got on well with both 'Winchester Super X' subsonic and CCI 'Stingers'
Totaly different trajectories but when sighted in both work.
Great fun on the range when have been shooting the No1 Mk3* and then swap over to the No2 Mk4* - apart from the range officer calling cease fire due to my missfire (he was expecting a 303 'bang') you have time to go and get a cup of tea between firing and hitting the target
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Mine gives tighter groups with standard velocity ammo. T22 is good.

Very well at 100yds. So-so at 200. Pitiful at 300yd, but I only did it seriously on one occasion. Good shooting conditions, but the target looked like a shotgun pattern and about the same size. 20" or so, IIRC.

I use Wolff Match Target and Fiocchi Super Match, all standard velocity and quite accurate.
