    PPS-43-C Semi-auto Pistol

Thought some of you might like to see pictures of the semi-auto PPS-43-C pistol made in Radom, Poland and imported by I.O.

The folding butt is welded in the closed position. By law here that makes it a pistol and it has been converted to semi-auto only. Under the butt plate you can see the denial trough that keeps a full-auto bolt from being installed.

It’s very easy to open for cleaning. Just press the latch with your thumb and it folds open. The bolt and captured return spring assemble come out as one.

It has been modified to a hammer fired system. The hammer spring is very powerful and has no trouble with hard primed ammo.

A channel has been milled it the top of the bolt so it can pass the denial ridge inside the top of the receiver.

Here you can see the firing pin inside the bolt and the slot cut in the return spring assembly lug.

It’s not an original PPS-43, but for around $350 it’s very nice shooter.
