    National Match 1911

    Hi all,

I have a National Match 1911 and I feel it is an early model however the serial number on the lower of this pistol dates the gun to the 1960's so i'm wondering if its been re-numbered at some point in its life. The serial number is 12485-NM as seen in the photo. OR it's simply a Gold Cup National Match with the wrong slide. Any help would be appreciated.

I was curious, it may have helped to have it stripped but that's not possible.

    Hi Jim,
I thought the same. It's a shame really but still has great history.

    Regards.
