mounting PH rings on Enforcer
might be a stupid question, what is the correct side to have the mounting screws when fitting PH rings to Enfield Enforcer? I have seen numerous images and they shoe them fitted both sides. I would assume the screws should go on the left.
Confused

Hey Gil,
the rifle in your picture isn't wearing PH rings.... ;-)

Here is a PH rifle with PH rings which can only be mounted in one direction.
Generally rings with large threaded knobs are mounted to the left side to minimize interference with bolt operation.
I have swapped ring directions when there are scope windage concerns (quite often rings and base combinations will not be in line with the bore).

just testing................ it was a late night and fired the first Enforcer picture I put my fingers on. Certainly LHS to answer the question I omitted initially.
