Jungle Carbine - what's this on the barrel?
Hi - hope you can help. I'm looking at a #5 Mark 1 Jungle Carbine with the following on the the barrel just forward of the stock. "303 2222 5 185" Do any of you recognize this?
Any idea of pricing on unissued examples?
Thanks -

Williamb,
Pricing varies greatly depending on where you are on this planet. I'm in Canada
, and currently typical Jungles will sell from between $250 and $500 usually; maybe a bit more for the pristine ones.
I don't know about the market in other countries (or other planets for that matter).

England
would be £400 - £600 or in Yankee dollars $600-$900

2.22 is the length of the shell casing the bore is sized for.
