    I tend to agree with Peter. I guess the repro's have a place perhaps if you want to put a T lookalike together maybe for Living History re-enactments or similar; but if you've managed to acquire a genuine rifle then surely it's worth saving that little bit longer to get a genuine scope for it? And will the repro scopes appreciate in value? I don't know....but the real ones will. Again, just my take on things. Each to his/her own......

    In the meantime, if you just want to shoot, a Weaver K3 fits the bracket, looks right, and can be found for $100.00. I've just put one on my Savage No.4 Mk1*T (fake) and will be testing it soon.
