Ishapore No1 MkIII?

I had one for years that my wife bought me for Christmas for $100 CDN about 1983 or '84...and it had seen lots of range time as the commencement was about four inches long...but it was a good example and shot fine for me. The material and workmanship was comparable to its peers... That one you have there is a good example and I'd pay that for it.

I like them a lot, mine is a 1962 built on an early BSA receiver. Top notch quality. I want a 2A1 so I can have an "SMLE" in 7.62!

I had one of those once upon a time. That caliber is incredibly tame in this big, heavy design. I tend to like recoil - really makes me feel like I'm doing something. So it was light enough for me to take notice of it.

You should have done up a #4 then in 458X2" American...mod the mag to about a 4 shot...that should do it for you. Leave the original buttplate...
