Well USAyou have got that Ruger Redhawk like I had, they are about a bullet proof as a pistol can get, me I liked my wheel guns yes they are a bit bulkier and can suffer a backed out primer stopping the cylinder at a crucial time but then again your S/A's can suffer stove pipes and double feeds.
If I had say a misfire* I don't have to bring the pistol down to rack the slide to clear the jam just roll on with the trigger keeping the same sight picture, I have fired the 1911 45ACP numerous times and whilst they are a great firearm with a long history I have never liked chasing brass all over the range.*(Not a squib load either as for either gun its off to the gunsmiths)
If you think a wheel gun may be slow Gerry Mikulek certainly had his race guns going at a great speed.
