From the feedback so far, is it safe to assume that a strip and BLO the wood probably won’t hurt the value?

is it safe to assume that a strip and BLO the wood probably won’t hurt the value?

If it was me, I'd strip bead blast and parkerize. The wood needs a complete degrease and rejuvenate too. Then it'll be right. Still will be a shooter.
