I have dealt with *** sniper 98 in the past. He does speak English very well.
A friend has also had dealings with him, and we are both content with the items, quick post, but he was rather amiss doing me declaration paperwork.
He was recommended by a longstanding historical arms collector.

    Rob,
Thx., but they weren't on the AAS stall. I'm on nodding terms with him so would have twigged. The chap who had them I've only ever seen at Ciney. However, that's not to rule out anyone's involvement. Interestingly, the scope tins are different to the ones that AAS sells, the interiors being better made.
I really have no idea who is the main man over here in Europe.

I would be quite happy to buy a sight tin as a repro as I haven't got anything other than the rifle and scope (No.32 MK.3) ,But it is really cheeky to try and push repros as the real thing. On that note has anyone got any contacts for a sight tin or transit case, either repro or real?
Also what should I be paying for such Items we are still in recession after all!

I have one of the tins from *** Sniper 98.
    Very happy with the tin.
    Scope fits in perfectly.
Are you sure that they are repo?
Here is the ebay no 250611200723 of one of the same *** sniper tins that went for.....465 dolars. IN FRANCE
Am I missing something here.... should I buy a load and put them on ebay?

If that is a repro: British Box scope Lee Enfield sniper ww2 can - eBay (item 250611200723 end time Apr-14-10 07:44:41 PDT)

...it is a very poor one indeed. Certainly stands out from an original by a country mile. The scope doesn't even sit in it properly.

Slightly OT, but this gave me a little grin: FN SNIPER SCOPE WITH MOUNT, TOOLS AND CASE. - eBay (item 260591108138 end time Apr-30-10 09:17:27 PDT)

Seems the Belgians were quite taken with that MkI scope adjusting tool!

Yeah - it's the same person as the aasniper website thing AAS-SNIPER 98 - Pièces détachées d'armes, sabres, épées (miminana83's shop on ebay's called aassniper98) - I couldn't comment on the repro-ness or originality of the items but it doesn't appear to say it's one (if my schoolboy french is correct).

I am happy with mine, as all I am concerned about is protecting the scope.
It fits fine inside and does not flap about.
The real tins are too expensive for me,(so are the scopes but I have no choice there).
Your school boy Frenchicon is correct it does not say original at all nor does it say copy.
Bit it does sat "Vendue nue'' which means ''sold naked'' ............
i.e. does not include the tool in the pic.

Aren't these actually "genuine" Belgian made/issued No32 tins? I have a couple that appear to be of the same batch, and they do not appear to be a modern copy or reproduction.
